HAMMOND MODEL A ORGAN FOR SALE

If you like traditional Hammonds, then this is EXACTLY what you are looking for!
1935 Hammond Model A Serial # 6. I have owned this organ for over 20 years. Now it's time for someone else to own a piece of Hammond History. This organ plays like brand new with no missing harmonics or bad notes. This sale includes two Leslie 31-H tone cabinets. These are the highly-desirable so-called "tall Leslies," which have all the great sound of traditional Leslies but, because of their extra internal volume, provide even better, deeper and fuller bass.
The organ is not completely original. Some-where in its life the manuals have been changed. It now has split-able manuals with buss bar shifters. (This most useful feature was not a part of the very earliest Hammond production.) The console woodwork has been re-finished.
Besides this immaculate Hammond Console, I'm also including an original Wurlitzer Side Man rhythm unit, a spare, re-coned 15" bass speaker for the Leslies, a spare amplifier chassis, and even a letter from the Hammond Organ Company dated 1964, detailing the history of this organ up to 1939. This sale will also include all of the moving dollies for the console, the speakers and even for the Side Man. The console dolly alone is a most worthwhile item, and it is completely carpeted to go well with any decor.
The sale price does not include shipping, which will be the buyer's responsibility, but I will work with the shipping company to facilitate this as much as possible so that you won't have to worry about any packing or shipping labor. The organ is on the ground floor with very easy access.
The instrument is being offered for sale by Robert Service in Pheonix, AZ.
